This article explains how to enable the Destiny Fundraising Manager integration in Aeries.

Note: Destiny Fundraising Manager integration requires an API key that is unique to each customer. This key must be obtained directly from Destiny before proceeding with the configuration steps.

Go to the 3rd Party System Connections page in the navigation menu.

Scroll to the section titled System Connections. Check the box next to Enable Destiny Fundraising Manager.

The following message will appear. Click Yes to continue.

After confirming, check the Use Sandbox checkbox if this is not a production database. This will change the system to use sandbox URLs with Destiny Fundraising Manager and will force the use of PayPal in a sandbox environment ensuring no real payments are processed.

Enter the Destiny Fundraising Manager Api Key provided by Destiny.

Destiny Fundraising Manager Portal Configuration

In the Other Settings section of the School Options page (at the district level), there are two additional configuration options related to Destiny Fundraising Manager: Enable Campaign URL and Enable Billing Gate URL. 

Each of these options can be enabled independently for Parent and Student accounts.

These settings control whether campaign and billing links are displayed in the Parent Portal and Student Portal, depending on the account type.

The following options are available in the Other Settings section of the School Options page (district level):

Enable Campaign URL

• Displays a link to the student’s Destiny Fundraising Manager payment portal on the Parent Portal homepage. This link can be shown for Parent accounts, Student accounts, or both.

Enable Billing Gate URL

• Displays a link to the student’s Destiny Fundraising Manager Payment Gateway on the Parent Portal homepage. This gateway allows families to set up automatic payments using a credit card or PayPal business account.

Click the Update button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
