Using School Groups


Overview  

Navigate to School Info > Configurations > School Groups


The School Groups page allows users to create groups of schools that can be used at the District Level on various Pages and Reports using the School Group Selector

Configurations  

Adding School Group Codes

Before creating a School Group, the School Group Codes must be added on the Update Code Table page. 


Clicking on the Add Group button on the School Groups page opens the Update Code Table page. 


 

You may also navigate directly to the School Info > Configurations > Update Code Table page.


Add the Group Codes. The Code field allows a 6-character alphanumeric code.




Creating a School Group  

Once the School Group Codes have been added, use the School Groups page to create the School Groups.


Select a Code from the dropdown.  In the form that opens, select the Schools that will be part of that group and Save the Group.




  • A School can belong to more than one Group. 
  • Deleting a Group also deletes the Group Code from the COD table.


The filter can be used to search groups by School Name



Using School Groups

When a Report is run from the District Level, the School Group Selector is available on Pages and Reports that use a School Selector.
