Issue

When attempting to sync the Discipline Entity, the system returns failed records with the error:  

{"message": "Validation of 'DisciplineAction' failed.\n\tDisciplineActionDisciplines requires at least one object in the collection.\n"}

Cause

The error occurs because the Discipline Incident does not have a valid Administrative Decision (Disposition) mapped in the Code Set: Discipline Descriptor (DSP.DS). Additionally, errors will occur if non-PEIMS reportable discipline incidents are recorded on the Assertive Discipline page.

Resolution

The Administrative Decision (Disposition) needs to be added and mapped in the Code Set: Discipline Descriptor (DSP.DS).  If the Discipline Incident is a non-PEIMS reportable discipline incident, it should be recorded on the Discipline (DIS) page to avoid errors. If the errors are from non-PEIMS reportable discipline incidents and are acceptable, they can be ignored.
