There are three types of Truancy Codes submitted for the TSDS Summer PEIMS Submission.

1. Excessive Unexcused Absence Indicator Code - 01 - Truant

• If a student has not attended school for 10 more days or part of day with a six month period that is not excused then on the Student Data > Demographics > Student Data 2 page the Truant (STU.TRU) field must be set to Yes and the Date Met (STU.TDM) field added. 

2. Truancy Prevention Measure Indicator Code - 02 - Truancy Interventions Code (INV.CD)

• If the student has at least one Truancy Interventions Code (INV.CD) and the Truancy Interventions Code (INV.CD) is mapped to 02 in the Ed-Fi Code Mappings.

3. Truancy Complaint Filed Indicator Code - 03 - Truancy Complaint Filed (INV.TCF)

• If the student has the Truancy Complaint Filed filed coded as Y for any Truancy Interventions Code (INV.CD) mapped to 02 or 03 in the Ed-Fi Code Mappings.
