Overview
Using various setups, an Item Definition can be created to identify existing records within the database to meet a district's data management needs. Listed below are samples of different types of Item Definitions.

PGM - Free or Reduced Lunch ↑
The Free or Reduced Lunch Item Definition displays students who have a Free or Reduced Lunch record using the Record Exists Yes/No Generic.

PRI - Pre-Referral to Interventions ↑
The Pre-Referral to Interventions Item Definition displays students with at least one Pre-Referral to Interventions record using the Record Exists Yes/No Generic.

ACT - Sports/Activities ↑
The Sports/Activities Item Definition displays how many sports a student is participating in using the Count of Codified Text Field Type. Create one for each sport season: Fall, Winter, and Spring. This indicator is also a good option for a Dynamic Student Group. The Dynamic Student Group can be used for monitoring Attendance and Grades.
