APIB-1 – International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme

This indicator does not display on the Results page, but it is populated in the extract with either a Yes or a No. If APIB-2 includes any student counts, it will be populated with a Yes, otherwise it will be populated with a No.

APIB-2 – Student Enrollment in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme

Students enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme – an unduplicated count of students that are enrolled in one or more IB classes as determined by the International Baccalaureate Courses option defined on the Codes tab. The default selection for IB courses is the Course Level (CRS.CL) = 37 or 38.

  • These counts are limited to students in grades 9 -12.
  • The program will check the CRS.CL field for codes 37 or 38.  The student will be counted only once regardless how many IB classes they are enrolled in. The program will check the identified MST User field (MST.U1 - MST.U8) to determine which Reporting Date to be used. For regular scheduling the count is based on the Fall Reporting date. For block scheduling where single term full year courses are identified by a MST User field (MST.U1 - MST.U8) counts are based on the Fall Reporting date and on the Spring Reporting date.  The program will then use Course Attendance (CAR) to verify that the student was enrolled in the course on the reporting date(s).
  • Per CRDC guidelines the student enrollment in IB counts will be applied to their primary enrollment school when they are counted in the class, even if they are taking the class in a different (concurrent enrollment) school.
  • See ENRL-1 for additional information on which records are included in the counts as well as demographic breakdowns.

APIB-3 – Advanced Placement (AP) Program Indicator

This indicator does not display on the Results page, but it is populated in the extract with either a Yes or a No. If APIB-6 includes any student counts, it will be populated with a Yes, otherwise it will be populated with a No.

APIB-4 – Different Advanced Placement (AP) Courses

Advanced Placement (AP) Courses – an unduplicated count of courses where students are enrolled in one or more of the courses selected in the AP Math, AP Science, AP Computer Science and AP Other lists on the Courses tab.

  • These counts are limited to students in grades 9 -12.
  • The course will be counted if at least one student is enrolled in one or more of the courses selected on the AP Math, AP Science, AP Computer Science or AP Other lists in the Courses tab.

APIB-5 – Advanced Placement (AP) Course Self-Selection

This indicator is not populated by Aeries.

APIB-6 – Advanced Placement (AP) Student Enrollment

Advanced Placement Student Enrollment – an unduplicated count of students enrolled in the courses selected in the AP Math, AP Science, AP Computer Science or AP Others lists on the Courses tab.

  • These counts are limited to students in grades 9 – 12.
  • Students must be enrolled in the courses selected on the AP Math, AP Science, AP Computer Science or AP Other lists in the Courses tab.
  • Per CRDC guidelines the student enrollment in AP Courses counts will be applied to their primary enrollment school when they are counted in the class, even if they are taking the class in a different (concurrent enrollment) school.
  • Students may be counted in more than one table if they are taking several AP courses in different subject areas, such as AP Calculus and AP US History.
  • Students enrolled in two or more courses in the same subject list (such as AP Calculus and AP Statistics in the AP Math list, or AP US History and AP Economics in the AP Other list) should only be counted once for each list.
  • This logic pertains to tables:
