Instances of Preschool Corporal Punishment – a count of the number of instances of corporal punishment that occurred for preschool students during the reporting year. This is a count of out of instances, not a count of students.

DISC-25 – Discipline of Students without Disabilities - More than One Out-of-School Suspension ↑

Students without Disabilities that received more than one Out-of-School Suspension – a count of K-12 students that received more than one out-of-school suspension during the reporting year.

These counts are limited to students in grades K-12 .
These counts are limited to students that do not have IDEA or 504 records.
The Out-of-School Suspension codes are those defined on the Codes tab.
Enrollment (ENR) records will be used to determine which school the student was enrolled in on the date of the occurrence. The Enrollment Reporting School (ENR.HS) value will be used as the CRDC Reporting School when it is not blank.

DISC-27 – School Days Missed Due to Out-of-School Suspension ↑

School days missed due to Out-of-School Suspensions – the total number of full school days that were missed because of out-of-school suspensions for students in grades K-12 during the reporting year.

These totals are limited to students in grades K-12 .
The Out-of-School Suspension codes are those defined on the Codes tab.
The Disposition Days (DSP.DY) field is used to calculate the total number of days of school lost to out-of-school suspensions for all students. Each student's CRDC number of days missed to out-of-school suspension is rounded to a whole number. If a student is suspended for less than 50% of the day the number of days missed is rounded down (ex. 2.25 days rounds down to 2 days). If a student is suspended for 50% to 99% of the day the number of days missed is rounded up (ex. 2.5 days rounds up to 3 days).
The Students with Disabilities (IDEA) count includes the K-12 students with IDEA records or with both IDEA and 504 records.
The Students with Disabilities (Section 504 only) are students with only 504 records.
