DISC-27 – School Days Missed Due to Out-of-School Suspension ↑
School days missed due to Out-of-School Suspensions – the total number of full school days that were missed because of out-of-school suspensions for students in grades K-12 during the reporting year.
- These totals are limited to students in grades K-12 .
- The Out-of-School Suspension codes are those defined on the Codes tab.
- The Disposition Days (DSP.DY) field is used to calculate the total number of days of school lost to out-of-school suspensions for all students. Each student's CRDC number of days missed to out-of-school suspension is rounded to a whole number. If a student is suspended for less than 50% of the day the number of days missed is rounded down (ex. 2.25 days rounds down to 2 days). If a student is suspended for 50% to 99% of the day the number of days missed is rounded up (ex. 2.5 days rounds up to 3 days).
- The Students with Disabilities (IDEA) count includes the K-12 students with IDEA records or with both IDEA and 504 records.
