District Settings
A Disable School Based Attendance Letters option is available in the District Settings.
When school letters are disabled with this District Setting option, a few changes will occur:
1. On the Student Attendance page, the attendance counters fields (STU.LT - "Absent" and STU.L2 - "Tardy") will no longer display at the top of the page These fields are not used with the District Attendance Letters. The Letter Log (LTL) records are used in District Attendance Letters to determine if the student is applicable for a letter.
2. A Letter Log section will display at the bottom of the Student Attendance page displaying each letter and the date it was sent. This data comes from the Letter Log (LTL) table. A copy of the student letter is available in this section.
3. A new option "Exclude from Attendance Letters" will display below the letter log on the Student Attendance page. This option can be set to exclude a student from ever having a letter generated. The field is STU.DSL.
