The Discipline Dashboard is accessed from the Student Data | Guidance node in the Navigation tree. The Discipline Dashboard displays charts analyzing the total number of incidences in a variety of ways. The Dashboard pulls information only from Assertive Discipline (ADS) table. Discipline (DIS) data is not included on the Dashboard.
The Discipline Dashboard is currently not available for Teacher accounts.
There are few options available on the Discipline Dashboard.
- Year to Date – select the range of dates of the discipline records to include in the charts
- Show Total# Referral – select if the charts will display the Total #, Daily Rate, Weekly Rate or Percentage of Referrals
- Edit Codes – select the violation codes that you would like to include in the charts
Once the options have been selected, the Refresh button is selected to refresh the data on the charts.
The Download Details button will export the incident information used to create the charts to an Excel spreadsheet. This report has the option to include or not to include demographic data (student identifying information).
The charts that display on the Discipline Dashboard are:
- Number/Rate/Percentage of Incidents by Month
- Number/Rate/Percentage of Incidents by Week
- Number/Rate/Percentage of Incidents by Day of Week - Monday through Friday
- Number/Rate/Percentage of Incidents by Approximate Time – from the Approximate Time field ADS.AXT
- Number/Rate/Percentage of Incidents by Time of Day – from the Exact Time field ADS.ET
- Number/Rate/Percentage of Incidents by Location
- Number/Rate/Percentage of Incidents by Grade
- Number/Rate/Percentage of Incidents by Gender
- Number/Rate/Percentage of Total Number of Incidents for all Violation Codes
- Number/Rate/Percentage of Incidents for Primary Violation Codes
The Export as Image button will download the Dashboard into a png image file.
