What is the STU.SP field used for in Aeries?


The Student Program (STU.SP) field in Aeries is used to identify the attendance program a student is enrolled in. This includes programs such as, but not limited to:
  • Regular Program
  • Special Education
  • Independent Study
  • Concurrent Enrollment

While this field can be useful for filtering students in queries and reports and tracking when a student is enrolled in these programs, its primary purpose is to organize students by program on the Monthly Attendance Report. 

For example, students marked as Concurrent Enrollment will appear on a separate page of the report. This separation allows the District's Business/Financial Department to exclude those students from ADA (Average Daily Attendance) reporting, since ADA can only be claimed by the student’s primary enrollment school.
