Socio-Economically Disadvantaged from LCAP Items and Subgroups

The Equity Dashboard Items are easy to display.  The Equity Dashboard Item is configured using the pre-built LCAP Socio-Economically Disadvantaged and Race Ethnicity items.  For detailed information on creating Item Definitions see Item Definitions - Analytics Indicators.

Using the example below, Equity Dashboard Items can be created for any program with a district.  Build the item using the Configuration as shown below.  Select applicable threshold levels.  The threshold levels are based on the Label Layout. For example, In a Program or Not in a Program are thresholds 3 and 5.  However, if building to measure equity results for SBAC, the threshold levels are 1 2 3 4 (the four SBAC performance levels).

On the Name button, select the Program: Socio-Economically Disadvantaged.  The option to select a subgroup will display since the item data was configured to display By Subgroup. From the Subgroup dropdown, select all the Race values.
