How to use the Scheduling Mass Change Sections (SSS) form to mass add a group of students to one Section and then move them into their individual Sections. 

  • Example: Place all 10th grade students into one interim Section, then move them into their actual Sections


Step 1: Scheduling Mass Change Sections (SSS)

  • Navigate to the Scheduling Mass Change Sections (SSS) form
  • Search for the Section you want to mass add the students to for a specific grade level under the To now have these sections column
  • De-select all the grade levels except the one you want to use under the Only change students in the following grades section
  • Always select the Preview Only button first to verify the list of students to add the Section for
  • Once the list is confirmed as correct, select Update


Step 2: Scheduling Master Schedule

  • Navigate to the Section you added in the Scheduling Master Schedule 
  • Tag the students you want to move into a different Section under the Students tab
  • On the Move students to another class form > New Section field, enter the Section number to move the students to
  • Select the option to Move tagged students only
  • The selected students will be removed from the current Section and moved to the new Section
