Items to Review

Check the Fall and Spring End dates on the Civil Rights Data Collection page > General Settings tab

The Fall and Spring End dates determine the Algebra I student enrollment counts. The Fall End Date should be close to the end of the term and the Spring End date should be the earliest end date of all schools offering Algebra I in the district. If the Spring End date is after the last day of school, the students will not be included in the COUR-4a, COUR-4b, COUR-8a, COUR-8b, COUR-9a, and COUR-9b counts.

Check the Credits Needed to Pass Algebra I on the Civil Rights Data Collection page > General Settings tab

The grades 7-8 and 9-12 credits needed to pass Algebra I need to be entered.

Check the 2023-24 School Year Transcript for the Algebra I Credit

Students who Passed Algebra I - The Testing Pass Status (TPS) table is no longer being used to determine the count of students that passed Algebra I. The logic for determining whether a student passed Algebra I is now limited to the Transcript (HIS) records in the CRDC reporting year, and the accumulated credits that they completed in the Algebra I course(s) during the reporting year. Enter the number of credits needed to complete a full year of Algebra I for each of the grade range options.
