In a Flex school setting, the Attendance Submission Log shows teachers are missing attendance, even if they have submitted attendance.

Cause

The Portal Options>Attendance tab does not have the option selected for Attendance to be Taken (Marked as Complete) by Section

Resolution

On the Portal Options>Attendance tab it is required to have the option selected for Attendance to be Taken (Marked as Complete) by Section. This option is needed in Flex schools because the Class Attendance Submission Log (CAS) records are linked to the MST by Section Number instead of by Teacher Number.
