Aeries EM2 (Emergency Management App Version 2) is a mobile app designed to provide remote access to student information contained in the Aeries Student Information System to school Administrators and school Staff. The following information is available in Aeries EM2: Student Demographics, Authorizations, Attendance, Class Schedules, Contacts, Medical History, Class Roster and Discipline. The information is displayed in a concise, mobile-friendly format and the data can be cached for offline use. This is necessary when access to a computer or network is not available, for example, for staff members on recess/lunch duty, or in an emergency situation.

Aeries EM2 is only available to school districts that have a license key installed for use. There are several steps that the school district must complete in order for the administrators and staff to access student data through the EM2 App. These steps will be completed by Aeries Support for the hosted districts, but the non-hosted districts will need to complete the setup themselves. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices. Search for Aeries EM2 in the AppStore or Playstore to download and install the app on a device. 

The app honors the same Aeries security and portal options that affect the information available to the users and administrators when they access the Aeries Portal on a browser. Please see the Aeries EM2 Security article for more information on the permission set used by Aeries EM2.
