This error occurs because the "FTE %" fields in Aeries and CALPADS are out of "100", not "1".  The system is validating to make sure the Staff Job Classification FTE Percentage for an individual staff member who is not on leave (Non-classroom Based or Support Assignment Codes 1-7 does not equal 6018) is not less than 1 or if employee is on leave (Nonclassroom Based or Support Assignment Codes 1-7 = 6018) is not greater than 0.

Resolution:

Adjust the Staff FTE (STF.FTE) and Staff Job Assignment FTE (STJ.FTE) to scale to "100".  

• If the staff person has a Non-classroom Based or Support Assignment Codes of 1-7, confirm that the Staff FTE (STF.FTE) and Staff Job Assignment FTE (STJ.FTE) do not equal 0 and that the Support Assignment Code does not equal 6018.  
• If the staff person is on leave, submit zero in the Staff FTE (STF.FTE) field.
