Session Description

If you’re trying to manage a blizzard of forms and spreadsheets for after-school enrollment, class rosters, and attendance reports, this session is for you. In this workshop, we’ll outline how to use an Aeries/ActivityHero integration to streamline the management of your expanded learning programs, including those funded by ELO-P, ASES, and 21st CCLC. We will share the best practices used by Lucia Mar Unified School district to deploy this integration at scale, and highlight the lessons they learned. 


Session Content

In this session, participants will: 

  • Master the process of generating pre-populated registration forms to eliminate friction and accelerate the enrollment experience for families 
  • Explore how to use ActivityHero to send supplemental attendance reports to Aeries, in order to satisfy reporting requirements, like those of CALPADS 
  • Discover how to use an ActivityHero/Aeries integration to auto-create parent/guardian accounts, pre-populate parent, guardian and emergency contacts, and flag accounts for restricted pick-ups 
  • Learn how to use ActivityHero to determine sliding scale prices based on Aeries student demographic/income data 
  • Analyze real-world deployment tactics from Lucia Mar Unified School District, focusing on how to scale SIS integrations while avoiding common implementation pitfalls
