Issue
A student's attendance is not calculating for one or more Reporting Periods in the TSDS PEIMS Summer Student Attendance Extension file.
Cause
The student's attendance is no longer calculating after the student moved between School Tracks. The student's Attendance Enrollment Enter Date is not on a school day according to the student's Track Calendar.
Example: Student was on Track B and moved to Track A. The Enrollment Date of 03/01/2024 entered for Track A is not an attendance day, it is a Teacher Only Day. The date of 03/01/2024 was in the calendar dates list because the date was in the Main Calendar for the School.
Resolution
- Change the Attendance Enrollment Enter Date to the next school date on the Track calendar.
- Re-run the Student Attendance Detail report with Recompute Attendance Reporting Details (ARD) Information enabled for all Reporting Periods the attendance is not calculated correctly. Check the attendance for each Reporting Period on the Student Attendance Detail report to make sure the attendance is calculated correctly.
