Session Description

Introducing “CALPADS Basics – Program Data Management”. This session is thoughtfully designed to offer a comprehensive understanding of student program data management using Aeries. This session aims to empower participants with essential knowledge and skills in the extraction of CALPADS files with accurate and current information.  


Session Content

In this session, participants will: 

  • Identify the various pages and methods within Aeries for recording program data, including Free and Reduced Lunch, 504 Plans, and Special Programs 

  • Recognize the key components of the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS) for managing student program data 

  • Summarize the process for locating and maintaining student programs required for reporting, such as Free and Reduced Meals (NSLP), Title 1, Homeless, Foster, Migrant, and 504 programs 

  • Explain the reporting requirements for CALPADS program data management and the Special Education Reporting System for managing special education data 

  • Employ effective strategies to streamline data reporting processes for CALPADS program data management
