Session Description

In “504 Plan Management”, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively manage and document 504 data using Aeries. The 504 Plan in Aeries provides a robust framework for documenting stakeholders, evaluation criteria, impairments, eligibility, and accommodations. Additionally, participants will learn how to navigate the CALPADS reporting elements of 504 plans.  


Session Content

In this session, participants will: 

  • Identify the key components of a 504 plan and explain their significance in supporting students with disabilities 

  • Recognize and demonstrate the use of specific screens, code values, and associated tables and fields in Aeries' 504 Plan management 

  • Summarize best practices for securing 504 table settings in Aeries and discuss their impact on data management 

  • Discuss the connection between CALPADS reporting and the Section 504 program and its implications for compliance and data accuracy 

  • Apply knowledge of Aeries features to effectively navigate and document 504 plans for improved student support and compliance
