IMPORTANT: Attendance should be initialized as close to the first day of school as possible. It must be run before school opens on the first day of school. See Texas - Before the Schoolyear Begins Checklist.

Identify and manage students who do not attend on the first day(s) of school.

  • View students who have absences at the start of the school year.
  • Update a student's enrollment to start on the first day of attendance for those who are absent at the beginning of the school year.
  • Update program records to the student's actual enrollment date.

  • Mark No Show students as Leaver or Mover once you determine their status
