Emulating a Parent/Student account in Mobile Portal App

Only an admin type user can emulate a parent/student account on the mobile app. Emulating a parent or student will access the live account in your school district for the student.  Proceed with caution.

From the login screen of the Mobile Portal App, select the school from the dropdown list for the account being emulated.

For the username, you will enter the parent or student's actual username (email) from the PWA table followed by an ampersand symbol (&) then the admin's username.

For example:

Parent's username = parent@aeries.com

Admin username = jabbott

username will display as:

parent@aeries.com&jabbott

The password will be the password of the admin user.

Emulating a Teacher account in the Teacher App

Only an admin type user can emulate a teacher account on the Teacher App. Emulating a teacher will access the live account in your school district for the teacher. Proceed with caution.

From the login screen of the Teacher App, select the school from the dropdown list for the account being emulated.

For the username, you will enter the teacher's actual username from the UGN table followed by an ampersand symbol (&) then the admin's username.

For example:

Teacher's username = acosta

Admin username = adminname

username will display as:

acosta&adminname

The password will be the password of the admin user.
