There are some situations where you need to allow select teachers to enter Grades outside the Grade Reporting window.  


The following steps will allow only select teachers to temporarily enter grades:

  1. Remove Update permissions to Grades (GRD) from the Teachers portal group. You may want to Deny Update permissions instead of removing it so you have a visual reference to easily place back.
  2. Open the Grading Window for that site in Portal Options.
  3. Only grant Update permission to Grades (GRD) to the user accounts for the teachers who didn't finish. An expiration date can be set for the permission applied.

Once the teachers are finished entering grades, remember to close the Grading Window and to also add the Update permissions back to the Teacher Portal Group.
