This article details how to assign a default Assignment Type when Importing an Assignment into the Gradebook

1. Navigate to the Gradebook Dashboard

2. Select Manage Gradebook

3. Go to the Gradebook Options tab

3. Select the Assignment Type for Imported Assignments option

• Chose Summative or Formative for all Imported Assignments
