If the Departmentalized Course Standards Grade Level Range = MID (Middle Grades 5-8) for a course then the Middle School Core Setting Indicator must equal Y or N.

This error occurs when the Middle School Core (CRS.MSC) field on the California Specific Fields tab of a course record is not populated, but the Std Grade Range (CRS.SGR) field is populated with MID (Middle Grades 5-8). 

Suggested Resolution:

• Populate the Middle School Core (CRS.MSC) field with Y or N to designate if the course is taught as part of a middle school core setting.
